We offer a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where you’ll work on progressive **site investigation, remediation, and liability management projects** at local, national, and international levels. **What You’ll Do** As a **Managing Consultant – Contaminated Land**, you will:* Lead and manage complex site investigations, remediation programs, and environmental risk assessments.* Supervise and mentor junior team members, helping them develop their technical and project management skills.* Engage with clients and stakeholders, delivering high-quality environmental solutions while building strong, lasting relationships.* Oversee and manage field programs, subcontractor management ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.* Develop project proposals and budgets, contributing to the growth and success of our national operations.* Collaborate with our global team of experts, gaining exposure to innovative methodologies and best practices.**What We’re Looking For** We are seeking a **motivated and experienced consultants** with **5-8 years of contaminated land consulting experience**, who is eager to take on a leadership role. The ideal candidates will have:* A relevant tertiary qualification in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or soil science.* A strong track record in contaminated site investigations and remediation, with experience in a consulting environment.* Technical expertise in preliminary and detailed site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation strategies.* A commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices, particularly in high-risk field settings.* Excellent project management skills, including proposal writing, budgeting, and client engagement.* Strong report writing abilities, with engagement in the Certified Environmental Practitioner Scheme or relevant professional industry bodies being highly regarded.* The ability and willingness to travel to client / project sites as required.* A valid Australian driver’s licence and full Australian work rights.At ERM, we understand that great work comes from happy, supported employees.
