Uniting AgeWell is seeking a Customer Care Consultant to join our supportive Contact Centre team in Burwood. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and families, guiding them through care options, answering enquiries, and ensuring each person feels heard, respected and supported. Why you’ll love this role Hybrid working – enjoy 2 days WFH once competency is achieved NFP salary packaging benefits to increase your take‑home pay Burwood office with a warm, supportive team Work for a values‑driven organisation guided by the BEST philosophy – Believe, Excel, Support & Trust Ongoing development, coaching and training What you’ll be doing Be the welcoming first point of contact for clients and families seeking aged care support Manage inbound and outbound enquiries across multiple channels Provide accurate information about services, rights and responsibilities Complete intake processes, capture goals, and triage requests appropriately Maintain accurate client records, CRM updates and administrative tasks Build strong relationships through empathy, active listening and clear communication Support the wider Customer Care team and contribute to a positive, collaborative culture What you’ll bring Previous experience in customer service, contact centre or a client‑facing role Strong communication skills and a warm, professional phone manner Ability to manage multiple enquiries while staying organised and calm Experience working with mature people, families, or in a regulated environment (aged care experience ideal but not required) High level of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems A commitment to person‑centred care and exceptional customer experience Police Check, WWCC/WVP, and annual flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
