Learning Manager, Delivery Services ACES Learning Job ID: | Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd The AU Delivery Services Learning team seeks an exceptional Learning and Talent Development Manager who will set the standard for learning excellence across our operations. This role demands a strategic leader who can transform learning from a compliance function into a competitive advantage that directly drives operational performance, safety outcomes, and employee development at scale. This role requires someone who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels—designing regional learning frameworks while being willing to "roll up your sleeves" and deliver training on the floor when needed. This is a field-based, regional leadership position requiring at least 20% monthly travel between Delivery Services sites. You must be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-volume environment where priorities shift rapidly and ambiguity is the norm. Key job responsibilities Operational Excellence & Data-Driven Decision Making Lead and develop a high-performing team of learning leaders across multiple locations, setting clear performance expectations and holding team members accountable to results Design and implement a comprehensive learning strategy for critical operational roles (Yard Marshals, TDR, Learning Ambassadors) that demonstrably improves safety, quality, and productivity metrics Partner with WW learning teams to identify, evaluate, and localise innovative learning solutions, demonstrating bias for action in piloting new approaches while maintaining high standards for effectiveness Stakeholder Management & Influence Build deep partnerships with Operations leaders, earning their trust through consistent delivery and demonstrating how learning investments drive business outcomes Navigating competing priorities and escalations with composure, making sound judgment calls about resource allocation and timeline tradeoffs Communicate learning strategy and results to senior leadership, translating training metrics into business impact Standards & Continuous Improvement Drive adherence to standard learning solutions while creating feedback loops that capture operational insights for program enhancement Own continuous improvement initiatives that raise the bar on learning delivery, instructor quality, and content effectiveness Establish quality assurance processes that ensure consistent, high-quality training experiences across all sites in the region A day in the life You’ll start your day reviewing learning metrics and site performance data, identifying trends that require intervention. You’ll conduct check-ins with your team and ensure they are supported by coaching as needed and celebrating wins. Mid-morning, you might facilitate a working session with Operations leaders to launch training for a new process rollout, then spend the afternoon partnering with cross functional teams. You’ll analyse completion rates and performance data to assess program effectiveness, then end your day planning next week’s site visits and preparing a business review on learning impact for senior leadership.
