This four-year apprenticeship will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for career advancement. At the end of the program, you'll be equipped with all the knowledge and hand on skills you will need to build your career and move into roles such as a Team Leader or Site Manager - ready to lead with confidence. What You’ll Learn Plant recognition, care and maintenance Plant nutrition programs Pest and disease management Irrigation systems installation and maintenance Specialist transplanting, pruning and mowing operations Safety protocols and equipment operation About You You may not have any prior experience in the horticulture field, but you are a proven hard worker and are motivated and keen to learn new skills. Your can‑do attitude will underpin your success in this role. You are mature and are able to deal with people from all walks of life. You already have, or are prepared to obtain, a White Card and a Working with Children Check. Although not an absolute requirement, if you have a current drivers' licencethis will be looked upon favourably.
