Lead Educator – Busy Bees at Diggers Rest Licensed Capacity: 119 placesLocation: 12 Sully Court, Diggers Rest VIC 3427Hourly Rate: $33.00–$37.54 (WT 4A.1 to 4.3) Busy Bees at Diggers Rest is a warm, well‑resourced early learning service with 119 licensed places , located in the growing community of Diggers Rest, VIC . We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Educator to support our team in delivering high‑quality education and care. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys mentoring others, driving curriculum quality, and contributing to a positive centre culture. About the Role Responsibilities Lead the delivery of engaging, play‑based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Mentor and support educators to ensure high‑quality practice Build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families, and colleagues Oversee documentation, observations, and learning plans Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Contribute to meeting NQS and Busy Bees quality standards Bring enthusiasm, initiative, and strong leadership skills Qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA‑approved) Demonstrated experience in a Lead Educator or senior educator position Valid VIC Working with Children Check (Employee) Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting training Excellent understanding of EYLF and NQS Strong communication and organisational skills Benefits Hourly Rate: $33.00–$37.54 Laundry allowance Access to the Busy Bees Learning Platform Professional development and career progression opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supportive and inclusive team environment Opportunities to grow within a global early‑learning organisation Why Join Busy Bees at Diggers Rest?
