Job Description We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Canberra team, a close‑knit group of passionate professionals who genuinely care about each other and the community we serve. As a Rehabilitation Consultant here, you’ll be surrounded by colleagues who lift each other up, and you’ll be equipped with tailored training, tools, and mentorship to help you thrive both professionally and personally. In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals where you can provide holistic support to clients and providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve positive return to health and return to work. Responsibilities Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks) Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline‑specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments. Check out our company video if you want to see what IPAR is all about Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Social Work or Nursing Full Professional Membership with AASW or Full Professional Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility to obtain either) Strong interpersonal skills – there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders Excellent time management and organizational skills Empathy, paired with genuine compassion and kindness, makes all the difference in this role.
