Role Purpose As HR Manager for the Brisbane site, you will be the on‑site people leader partnering with the Site Director and leadership team to shape a high‑performance, values‑driven culture. You will own the end‑to‑end HR agenda for a GMP/regulated manufacturing environment, balancing strategic initiatives with hands‑on delivery across the employee lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Partner with the Site Director and leadership team to design and execute the local People Plan aligned to business goals. Own recruitment strategy for site roles (operations, quality, supply chain, technical and corporate), including workforce planning and employer branding. Coach leaders on performance management, capability building, succession planning and talent reviews. Lead employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) matters with pragmatic, fair and compliant advice; manage investigations and case management as required. Ensure compliance with the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards/EBAs, privacy obligations and WHS legislation (QLD). Partner with QA/Compliance to embed people practices that support TGA/GMP requirements (training, role competency, controlled documents, audits). Deliver onboarding, induction and learning programs tailored to a regulated manufacturing setting; maintain training matrices and competency records. Drive culture, engagement and wellbeing initiatives; support diversity, equity and inclusion priorities. Oversee remuneration & benefits processes, internal benchmarking, and annual reviews in partnership with Finance. Implement and optimise HRIS processes and data quality; produce people metrics and insights for site leadership. Manage contractors and third‑party providers (recruiters, training, EAP) to agreed service levels and budgets. Champion change management and communications for organisational and process changes. About You (Skills & Experience) Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business or related field. 5–10+ years’ progressive HR generalist experience, including site‑based support for manufacturing, life sciences, FMCG or other regulated operations. Demonstrated confidence navigating ER/IR, investigations, Modern Awards/EBAs and performance matters. Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES and WHS frameworks; QLD experience valued. Experience aligning people practices with quality/compliance systems (e.g., GMP/TGA) highly regarded. Proven ability to build trust with leaders and frontline teams; practical, solutions‑focused style. Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands‑on execution in a scale‑up environment. Excellent communication, data literacy and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Exposure to medicinal cannabis, pharmaceuticals, biotech or adjacent regulated healthcare sectors.
