About the role We are seeking skilled and experienced TIG welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TIG welding, fabricating, and assembling pressure vessels and food grade equipment. The position involves carrying out a range of duties including repairs & maintenance,modifying andcustomising components and preparing vehicles for delivery to our customers. The ideal candidate for the position willhave previous TIG welding experience, be able to work unsupervised and work to time schedules. The successful applicant must show themselves to be a team player who is willing to learn, be flexible, highly motivated, dedicated and proactive. Key responsibilities will include Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the specifications of tankers and other equipment Cut and shape metal using hand and power tools Weld, braze, and bolt parts together to assemble trailers and other equipment Test assembled equipment for leaks, proper function, and compliance with safety regulations Make repairs and modifications as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment The successful candidate will: Be able to read and understand engineering drawings Beproficient in TIG welding Have pressure vessel and food grade welding experience Be able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces Be able to work overtime at short notice when required Be available to work ahalf dayevery 2nd Saturday or more We are seeking amotivated individual who is looking for a role that will be challenging and rewarding and will play a pivotal part in the ongoing success of the business.
