What You’ll Do Cloudflare is seeking a Developer Platform Deal Strategist to play a pivotal role in the growth of Cloudflare’s Developer Platform. This high‑ownership, high‑impact role works closely with Sales, Product, and other cross‑functional teams to accelerate revenue growth and enhance the developer customer journey. Responsibilities Support complex, high‑value Developer Platform deals by providing strategic guidance on proposals, pricing, and terms. Join customer and partner calls to evangelize the platform, co‑sell, and articulate its overall value proposition. Partner with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product to streamline deal review, approval, and contracting processes. Collaborate on pricing strategies, packaging, and licensing models that align with the platform’s value and drive adoption. Develop and deliver training, playbooks, and best practices for the sales organization. Monitor and analyze deal trends, win/loss rates, and pricing effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities. Act as a conduit between sales teams and product/GTM, funneling market insights and customer feedback to inform product roadmap. Support strategic programs such as Cloudflare for Startups and the Workers Launchpad accelerator from a deal strategy perspective. Contribute to the long‑term strategic vision for Developer Platform commercialization, including market segmentation and sales motion optimization. Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 5+ years of experience in business development or sales strategy in complex B2B sales cycles, preferably within SaaS or developer‑focused product environments. Curiosity and growth mindset, with a strong desire to learn about the market and industry trends. Demonstrated ability to structure and negotiate high‑value, multi‑year SaaS agreements with large enterprise clients. Strong ownership, initiative, and independent time management to drive commercial outcomes. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels. Highly customer‑centric with a strategic mindset for solving complex commercial problems. Comfortable under pressure and able to adjust priorities in a fast‑moving environment. Proven ability to understand complex technical solutions and translate their value into commercial proposals. Data‑driven with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and using data to inform decisions. Organized and capable of keeping others on track in a fast‑paced setting. Background in Product‑Led Growth (PLG) is a strong plus.
