Workplace Health & Safety Advisor – Avia Homes Avia Homes is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Advisor to establish and lead our safety systems across our growing operations. Influence safety culture by building strong relationships across teams and trades. Conduct routine site inspections across multiple builds to identify hazards and ensure compliance. Deliver training and development programs for employees, contractors and trade partners. Lead incident investigations and support continuous improvement in safety practices. Act as the primary point of contact for all WHS matters, reporting directly to senior leadership. Provide expert advice to ensure Avia Homes meets its obligations under the WHS Act. What You Bring 5+ years' experience in WHS within construction or a related industry. Deep knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice and risk management frameworks. Track record of creating practical policies and delivering training that sticks. Strong communication skills – you connect easily with employees, contractors and leadership. Resilient under pressure, you lead by example and build safety culture through trust and collaboration. Formal qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety (Cert IV or Diploma).
