As First Nations Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving and delivering initiatives that support First Nations across the state.In this role you will be responsible for:* Leading and delivering Tennis West’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)* Coordinating the State Boorloo Tennis Carnival and supporting lead in events across WA* Representing Western Australia at the National Indigenous Tennis Carnival in Darwin, NT* Building strong partnerships with First Nations organisations to grow participation and community connection* Supporting the planning and delivery of broader diversity, inclusion, and equity initiatives across Tennis West, providing event and administrative support as required**About you**To be successful in this role you will:* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups* Cultural awareness and understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively within First Nations communities* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Knowledge of tennis or the broader sporting landscape is desirable* Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current **Police Check** and **Working with Children Check*** Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis West* Career development with a range of formal education and on the job training opportunities* Monthly wellbeing activities and recognition through our Serving Your Success program* Salary packaging & a range of discounts from our sponsorship partners**To Apply**If you think you’re up to the challenge, we’d love to hear from you Please submit your resume and cover letter via our online application system.
