Headquartered within Sydney's most exciting and fastest growing business precinct, Auto Freight's continued growth trajectory requires a dedicated Customer Operations Manager to facilitate our obsession with customer centricity. This position represents a key member of our valued, growing team and will report directly to the General Manager. Responsibilities Key interface between Auto Freight and its customers to fully understand how effectively our operational capabilities are meeting / exceeding customer needs. Provide insights and feedback to our broader operational team so that our customer experience is clearly understood, enabling prioritised and timely improvements. Lead the deployment of Auto Freight's Customer Portal, focusing upon achieving all key objectives and deliverables, especially enhanced customer experience. Actively contribute to ensuring Auto Freight is functioning compliantly across all of its customer related obligations – contractually, regulatory adherence etc. Participate in tendering and broader pricing activities, positioning us as competitively as possible. Continuous examination and research into the evolving vehicle logistics / storage industry / market, proactively identifying growth and strategic opportunities. Provide customer level inputs into Auto Freight's capacity planning practices, enabling sound coordination and targeted outcomes. Achieve targeted levels of industry / marketplace awareness of Auto Freight's service offerings, capabilities and brand attributes. Skills and Experience A minimum of two years experience within the vehicle transportation / storage industry, preferably including business development (B2B) or similar. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or similar is preferred. Ability to engage effectively with customers, correctly interpret their needs (including regulatory requirements), then work amongst broader stakeholder groups to translate these into enhanced and compliant service offerings. Excellent influencing, verbal and written communication skills across various stakeholder groups, including compound staff, drivers, administration, senior / executive management and regulatory agencies. Ability to do so both onsite and remotely. Direct involvement in contemporary marketing / promotional activities that realise industry / marketplace awareness of organisational capabilities and brand attributes. RFP / Tenders – Actively contribute to strategically developed responses, including solution offerings, pricing, capacity planning and regulatory adherence that optimise AF’s competitive advantage. Strong proficiency in supporting technologies, including Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams) as well as enterprise systems, application software (Apps), web and emerging AI. Strong ability to assist customers and related stakeholders in their effective use. Unyielding integrity.
