They are primarily government funded and offer state-wide services in metropolitan, regional and rural areas.THE ROLE & REQUIREMENTSReporting to the CEO, the

GM Community & Sector Capacity Building

is responsible for leading an innovative program designed to facilitate and support the development, growth, and empowerment of their target communities. They also lead a program that builds on the capacity of the sector itself, while enabling mainstream health, mental health & wellbeing, and education sectors to better understand the experiences of the target community.To be successful in this role you will have:Demonstrated senior expertise in working with complex trauma and recovery modelsLeadership expertise in shaping social and government policy and programs through community engagement and development across various sectors including education and/or healthExtensive senior management experience in leading sector and community change programsProven experience in managing government relationships including related to funding and service and agreementsWorked collaboratively and strategically as a member of a senior executive teamLeadership experience in driving innovation and a culture of continuous improvementRelevant post-grad qualificationsTHE OFFERThis role is offered on a permanent basis at a salary of circa $175K, plus statutory superannuation, and 17.5% annual leave loading.
