R3 Western Cluster Clinical Trial Coordinator – Clinical Trial Support Unit Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (up to November 2026) Position Classification: Registered Nurse Remuneration: $74,317.94 - $104,336.27 per annum (plus superannuation and salary packaging options) Location: Negotiable within WESTERN NSW LHD – Find out more Hours per Week: 38 Applications Close: 11 January 2026 – 11:59pm About the Role The Clinical Trial Support Unit (CTSU) has a mission to support the development of clinical trials through mentoring, training and education to grow clinical trials in the Western Cluster. Working as a Clinical Trial Coordinator in the dynamic cross‑district CTSU team, you will support the implementation of Western Cluster strategies and provide site‑level coordination of Investigator Initiated, Commercially Sponsored and Collaborative Clinical Trials. We are looking for an individual with a strong nursing background, a current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Someone interested in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the processes of clinical research. Responsibilities: Deliver clinical trial activities (including patient visits) in accordance with study protocols, GCP standards and relevant legislation, policies, guidelines and procedures. Cooperate across multiple disciplines and therapeutic areas within Western NSW and Far West Local Health Districts (LHDs). Support the implementation of cluster strategies and maintain site‑level coordination of all trials. Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice (Division 1) via AHPRA. Strong nursing background and clinical experience. Interest in GCP and clinical research processes. Valid Australian driver’s licence (if required for travel between sites).
