About the Role Join our Building Strong Foundations service, where you’ll play an important part in delivering free, culturally safe and responsive early childhood health care for Aboriginal children and their families. You’ll work alongside a supportive team of Aboriginal Health Workers and Child and Family Health Nurses, partnering with families, parents, carers, and the local community to promote strong health, development and wellbeing in Aboriginal children - helping them grow, thrive and fully participate in life and learning. About You You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a commitment to delivering culturally safe, compassionate, and family-centred care. If you don’t currently hold a Certificate III in Aboriginal Primary Health Care, we will support you to complete this qualification. Eligible to drive in NSW and the ability to travel as required. Additional Information Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro‑rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. Please note: if your contract ends before the agreed completion date, you may be required to repay a portion of the incentive. Determination 1 of 23 Aboriginal Health Worker classification – recognition of prior service ensures there are provisions of Recognition of Prior Years of Service that will influence the commencement of rate of pay for the successful candidate.
