Steel Fabricator / Installer – Hybrid Role Wyndham Steel Solutions Werribee, Melbourne VICFull time | 40 hours per week + optional overtime About Us: Wyndham Steel Solutions is a well-established, family-run structural steel company based in Melbourne. We specialise in fabricating and installing structural steel for residential and commercial projects. Our small, tight-knit team takes pride in quality, safety, and a can-do attitude. The Role: We are seeking a dedicated Steel Fabricator / Installer for a hybrid role combining factory fabrication and on-site installation. The focus will be on boilermaking in the workshop while also supporting rigging and dogging duties on-site. We value team players with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, adapt, and improve skills. Key Responsibilities: Fabrication and welding of structural steel beams and columns Reading and interpreting steel shop drawings for fabrication and installation Assisting with structural steel installation on residential and commercial sites Loading and unloading steel in the workshop Using hand and power tools safely and effectively Operating forklifts in the workshop Optional but advantageous – HR License for company trucks What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in structural steel, preferably as a boilermaker/fabricator 2–3 years welding and fabrication experience Rigging/dogging skills are a plus, but training can be provided Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour Ability to work well in a small, collaborative team White Card and Full Australian Driver’s License (HR preferred) Forklift License (required) What We Offer: Full-time work with consistent 40-hour weeks and optional overtime Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunities for training and upskilling, including rewriting bad habits if needed Supportive, close team environment where your contributions are valued Immediate start for the right candidate If you have a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, and want to grow your skills in a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
