Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world. Wood is recruiting a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Projects business based in Brisbane, in our CBD office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Designer to join a high-performing team and contribute to the success of a key client. Expected You will be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights for this location. Ideally you will have proven experience working in a similar role, supported by 10+ years of relevant design experience within the Mining and / or processing industries. In addition, you will Prior experience in Electrical design within mineral processing facilities Strong knowledge in applying relevant Electrical / Instrumentation industry design practices and key national and international standards and codes Good written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to communicate discipline requirements to other members of the project team Ability to deliver best practice design and drafting, with emphasis on cost-effective design Competency in MicroStation and / or AutoCAD Knowledge of and exposure to key Clients in Mining & Minerals It takes a diverse and inclusive community of inquisitive minds to unlock tomorrow’s solutions to the world’s most critical challenges.
