Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Designer to join our Newcastle team. As the client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This is a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Senior Electrical Designer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team. Deliver high‑quality 2D design outputs using Agilitus systems and procedures; 3D design skills considered an advantage. Work across diverse projects to meet client standards, Australian regulations, and budget/time requirements. Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients while helping grow and maintain the Agilitus brand across industries. Responsibilities Undertake Electrical, Instrumentation and Control drafting/design tasks from concept stage through to as‑built stage Develop and improve Electrical, Instrumentation and Control design drafting tools for use across the team Other duties as required to enable the team to deliver projects Assist with identifying new work opportunities and preparing proposals Qualifications Diploma in electrical engineering or applicable drafting traineeship (or similar) Experience and ability to use AutoCAD and/or Microstation Exposure and/or experience using Navisworks and Bentley Raceway Design (desirable) Benefits At Agilitus, we encompass an entrepreneurial mindset and a collaborative, supportive culture.
