Learning and Development Facilitator - Northampton Avery Healthcare is one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care, with over 100 homes and a shared vision of "creating meaningful lives together." They are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Learning and Development Facilitator to join their team in Northampton on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week across their homes in the area. Main duties of the job As a Learning and Development Facilitator, you will play a key role in empowering Avery's teams to deliver outstanding care. You will lead engaging training sessions across a cluster of homes, helping ensure their people are confident, competent, and compliant. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality training on statutory and mandatory topics, identifying learning needs, designing and facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses, and supporting both face-to-face and virtual learning experiences. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Learning and Development Facilitator, youll play a key role in empowering our teams to deliver outstanding care. Youll lead engaging training sessions across a cluster of homes, helping ensure our people are confident, competent, and compliant. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering high-quality training on statutory and mandatory topics Identifying learning needs using our Learning Management System (LMS) Designing and facilitating interactive induction and refresher courses Supporting both face-to-face and virtual learning experiences Assessing learner understanding and confidence throughout sessions ABOUT YOU Youre someone who lives our values caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable and brings a genuine passion for adult social care and learning. Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above) Knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements A commitment to inclusive learning, including neurodiversity A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it) A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport WHY AVERY? Person Specification Qualifications You should have experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector, relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (Level 3 or above), knowledge of statutory and mandatory training requirements, a commitment to inclusive learning, and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it). A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are also required.
