Lecturer - Education Focused Location: UNSW Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. Employment Type: Part time – 10.5 hours per week (0.3 FTE). Duration: 2-year Fixed Term Contract. Remuneration: Level B from $127,947 + 17% superannuation and annual leave loading (pro rata). About The Role Deliver engaging undergraduate and/or postgraduate classes. Assess student learning and provide tailored academic support. Design innovative learning activities and resources. Contribute to experimental teaching approaches, foster progression to enhance outcomes. Manage course administration and quality assurance. Maintain professional development in pedagogy and discipline knowledge. Articulate a clear teaching philosophy. Report to Program Director, BMed/MD; dotted line to Phase 1 Convenors; no direct reports. Who You Are (Skills and Experience) A PhD in a related biomedical or medical discipline (preferred) or relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Experience using/designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence. Knowledge or experience of work-integrated learning (desirable). Active engagement in discipline knowledge and professional development. Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills. Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Pre-Employment Checks Required Verification of qualifications.
