Instrumentation Specialist - Electrical Automation Remtron is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This role requires a technical professional with proven application experience across key industrial sectors. About the Role As an Instrumentation Specialist, you will provide expert technical support and solutions for process instrumentation across diverse industrial applications. You'll work closely with clients and internal sales teams to specify, configure, and support advanced instrumentation systems that meet their unique operational requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and application support for process instrumentation solutions Specify and configure instrumentation systems for water & wastewater, food & beverage, and mining applications Support customers and internal sales staff with product selection, system design, and troubleshooting Conduct site visits to assess requirements and provide on-site technical assistance Deliver technical training and product demonstrations to clients and internal teams Collaborate with sales teams to develop tailored solutions for customer applications Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and emerging technologies Industry Experience Demonstrated application experience in water & wastewater treatment Proven background in food & beverage processing applications Hands‑on experience in mining and minerals processing environments Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of process measurement and control principles Experience with level, pressure, flow, and temperature measurement technologies Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, technical drawings, and specifications Product Knowledge Familiarity with Vega product portfolio (radar, ultrasonic, and guided wave radar level measurement) Experience with Jumo instrumentation (temperature, pressure, and process control) Knowledge of Schneider Foxboro range of instrumentation and control systems Desired Skills Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities Excellent communication skills with technical and non‑technical audiences Self‑motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Instrumentation, or related technical field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3‑5 years experience in industrial instrumentation applications What We Offer Competitive salary package Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity to work with industry‑leading technologies To Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience with the specified product ranges and industry applications.
