Kickstart Your Career with a Boilermaking Apprenticeship Are you finishing school and ready to start a hands‑on, rewarding career?GetCareers is looking for motivated school leavers to begin a Boilermaking Apprenticeship - an exciting opportunity to learn practical skills, work with experienced tradespeople, and earn anationally recognised trade qualification - Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking/welding) . You’ll get paid while you learn , gain valuable industry experience, and build a strong foundation for a long‑term career in the manufacturing and engineering industry. Location: Forrestfield Employment Type: Full‑time (5 days per week, 38 hours standard) Term of Apprenticeship: 4 years About the Role As a Boilermaking Apprentice, duties may include: Shape, join, and repair metal components for machinery, equipment, metal structures, and other fabricated products Lay out, cut, and form metals accurately to meet precise specifications Operate and maintain a range of welding tools and techniques safely and effectively Learn how to read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts with precision Gain hands‑on, on‑site experience working alongside skilled tradespeople What We’re Looking For Physically capable of performing hands‑on work Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic Reliable, punctual, and motivated to develop new skills through an apprenticeship Able to work effectively in a team and follow instructions Committed to completing the full term of the apprenticeship while working full‑time Eligibility Criteria Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Must reside in the Southern suburbs of the Perth Metropolitan Area due to job location Must have a Valid Driver’s Licence How to Apply A cover letter stating you’re applying for the “Boilermaking Apprenticeship” and explaining why you’re interested Your current resume School results (last completed year, including Semester 2 results) Copies of any relevant certificates (e.g. Certificate II - Pre‑Apprenticeship) A copy of your Driver’s Licence Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to applyWomen are encouraged to applySchool leavers are encouraged to apply Forge your future in Boilermaking with GetCareers – where skills meet steel.
