The Opportunity As an Associate Network Engineer in the HWAN Delivery Team, you will support and secure network infrastructure across NSW Health, collaborating with internal teams, customers and vendors to deliver high‑quality network solutions and resolve complex issues. In This Role You Will Generate and apply configuration to network devices in a mixed‑vendor environment Create network designs, complete technical handover checklists, change implementation plans and other artefacts required by projects Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, customers and third‑party vendors to plan, test, troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues Participate in planning meetings with project managers to schedule changes, reviews and customer migrations Manage IP subnet allocations across the eHealth NSW WAN and LAN subnets for managed network customers Adhere to the Change Management process strictly Commit to the team’s continuous improvement process, contributing ideas and identifying ways to improve systems and processes Ensure network devices are monitored and that documentation is complete and up to date Provide training to technical and non‑technical staff, if required About You Cisco CCNA level certification (Routing & Switching) or equivalent experience Exposure to other networking vendors (Fortinet, Cradlepoint) highly regarded Intermediate knowledge of BGP routing and tunnelling protocols (GRE, IPSec) Experience with IPv4 address management (DHCP, Infoblox) Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, Python scripting) Experience managing tasks in ServiceNow and documenting work Experience with Agile – Kanban working method an added advantage How To Apply Please submit your cover letter and resume (up to 5 pages), highlighting your relevant skills and experience.
