As a Home Care Team Leader at UPA, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our dedicated team of Care Workers to deliver exceptional, person-centred care. This includes workforce planning, team development, onboarding and mentoring new staff, and ensuring compliance with policies and care standards. Your role will also involve: Providing day-to-day leadership and acting as a positive role model Supporting recruitment, retention, and training of team members Coordinating and monitoring staff rosters and leave to maintain service delivery Facilitating team meetings, staff development and on‑the‑job mentoring Ensuring practices align with UPA’s policies, guidelines, and Code of Conduct Promoting a safe working environment through safety audits and risk assessments What You Bring Minimum Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent qualification Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising staff Excellent interpersonal, communication and team‑building skills Understanding of current Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities Current unrestricted Driver Licence Pre‑employment Screening The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to complete the following: National Criminal History Check Pre‑employment checks Vaccination in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy Appointment is subject to satisfactory pre‑employment screening and confirmation of work rights.
