The Role We’re looking for a senior litigation lawyer who can run their own files with real autonomy. You’ll: Manage matters from initial instructions through to resolution (court, mediation, negotiation - whatever gets the result) Work directly with clients, develop case strategies, draft court documents, and appear in court Supervise a junior lawyer and work with support staff Collaborate with colleagues and barristers when matters need it Have genuine responsibility and the freedom to practice the way you think is right You’ll be client‑facing, strategic, and hands‑on. What We’re Looking For Someone who: Has 3+ years PAE in litigation with direct client management experience Can quickly identify what a matter is really about and build strategy around it Enjoys building relationships with clients and actually likes people Wants autonomy but knows when to collaborate Is looking for somewhere to grow. You don’t need to be a someone who lives for the law. We want someone with drive who also understands that life exists outside the office. Why Leave Your Current Job for This? Fair question. What You’ll Actually Be Doing Day‑to‑Day Meeting clients, taking instructions, and figuring out what they actually need (not always what they think they need) Developing case theories and strategies that serve your client’s real interests Drafting pleadings, correspondence, and submissions Appearing in court, mediations, and negotiations Running your files with support from the team - autonomy with backup when you need it Working in an environment where people actually help each other instead of competing Ready to Make the Move?
