Salt Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Application Support Specialist Salt Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia Recruitment Consultant, Connecting businesses with top Software Engineering and Data talent Salt has partnered with one of the leading Australian insurance companies that is looking for an Application Support Specialist. 6 months contract offering 746 a day + super; Hybrid working arrangement, office based in Parramatta In this role you will support efficient and effective application development initiatives, ensuring alignment with business technical needs and adherence to service level agreements through continuous improvement strategies. Responsibilities: Maintain effective governance and reporting regimes for the IT application portfolio to ensure alignment with business needs and stakeholder understanding; Manage third-party applications, assist with incident management; Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver consistent service levels; Provide expert consultancy and support for application development, especially during major incidents, to meet business needs effectively; Handle complex issues, escalate when necessary, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Work Experience: Necessary Work Experience includes: 3+ years of experience with application support; Experience managing third-party applications; Experience with incident management; Service Now experience or knowledge would be beneficial Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications include: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
