People & Culture Advisor Join to apply for the People & Culture Advisor role at Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI) . Role Type: 12-month full time parental leave contract Salary: $86,165 - $91,432 per annum plus superannuation Make an impact in a role that’s all about people We are looking for a motivated People and Culture Advisor to join our team. You will step into a key role supporting employees and managers across the full employee life cycle – ensuring a positive experience for our people while maintaining compliance and best practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HR processes, excellent problem solving skills and be confident working with range of different people across all levels within the organisation. This is a 12-month parental leave cover with an immediate start. Key Responsibilities Be a trusted first point of contact for employee and manager queries Provide practical advice on policies, performance and employment conditions Manage key employment processes such as employment contracts and offboarding Monitor compliance across contracts, visa requirements, probations and other required employee checks Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team to deliver tailored people solutions What We Need From You 3 years’ experience in an HR or People & Culture role Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act, Modern Award and Enterprise Agreements Strong written and communication skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to handle and uphold confidentiality with maturity and common sense Confident in fostering relationships with stakeholders to provide trusted advice What’s in it for you Competitive salary and salary packaging benefits Enjoy a flexible hybrid working model with 2 days working from home and 3 days onsite Be part of a collaborative People and Culture team in a supportive and agile environment Contribute to meaningful people projects that improve the employee experience Work for a purpose driven organisation that’s making a difference in health and research Who We Are Murdoch Children’s Research Institute envisions a transformative future for child health.
