About the role As our next Dispatch Management Clerk, you'll work closely with mining supervisors and engineers, reporting to the Technical services superintendent. You will play a key role in ensuring the Fleet Management Database is up to date to streamline project performance reporting and decision making. You'll collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure quick and efficient turnaround times for machinery in and out of the workshop, all while focusing on safety and ensuring optimal production levels are maintained throughout the mining operations. This position is based at Iron Bridge, located 145 km from Port Hedland on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth. In this role, you will Provide timely and accurate data/information on fleet optimization and continuous improvements. Identify and communicate opportunities for operational enhancement to key stakeholders. Monitor Infomine to ensure operators enter correct production activity codes. Relay relevant information from dispatch to supervisors, such as weather updates or blasting exclusions. Collaborate with Mining Operations and Maintenance to ensure efficiency and task optimization. Update leave register and confirm with supervisors regarding accurate labor time usage allocations, adjusting if needed. Enter accurate production and equipment data into the appropriate production systems. Monitor equipment breakdown codes to ensure the recorded breakdown durations align with maintenance records in JDE. Review, validate, and export Infomine shift data for payroll processing and shift performance reporting. Work closely with the client’s fleet management team to ensure consistency of shift production data stored by both parties. What Thiess can do for you Current Driver's License (required) Operational experience in an open cut mining environment Calm, clear and concise communicator. Experience or proven ability to multi‑task and prioritise under pressure. Ability to read electronic data and communicate via two‑way radio. Exposure to Fleet Management Systems.
