We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The position is for Head Chef for cafe offering modern Australian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the relevant cuisines, a creative approach to menu development, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Key Responsibilities: Menu Development: Create and innovate a seasonal menu that showcases authentic Filipino and modern Australian cuisines. Kitchen Leadership: Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow, and maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment. Food Preparation: Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards, consistently meeting our quality and presentation expectations. Team Management: Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Inventory and Cost Control: Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability without compromising quality. Health and Safety: Ensure all kitchen activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests, addressing any issues or special requests promptly and professionally. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to create and innovate dishes that delight our guests. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
