About Your Role As a Kitchen (FSA), Laundry Hand and Cleaner, using your previous hospitality experience, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents. You will therefore hold strong communication skills combined with the ability to build positive and warm working relationships with residents and colleagues. What You'll Do Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program Ensure all Kitchen cleaning tasks meet CraigCare standards Preparation and cleaning in accordance with defined cleaning standards Understanding residents special dietary requirements Willing to commit to 3 or more shifts per week on an ongoing basis Cleaning and sorting of residents' clothing Understand and execute infection control initiatives Ensure all cleaning tasks meet CraigCare Standards What You'll Bring Organised, can-do attitude to what can be a physically demanding team environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience as a Cook is highly desirable Flexibility to work across any day of the week Flexibility to work shifts of up to 8 hours Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen) within an Aged Care Environment would be highly beneficial Sound knowledge of Food Safety Sound knowledge of Cleaning Protocols Current NDIS check clearance (or willing to obtain) Proof of Work rights in Australia Culture and Benefits Learning & Development With over 40 years' experience, we have created a culture and environment for our staff to learn and grow with opportunity of ongoing professional development.
