The Travel Inn Carlton is a stylish four-star boutique hotel, and we are currently seeking a friendly, motivated Casual Receptionist to join our enthusiastic Front Office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in hospitality or further develop their skills within a professional hotel environment that encourages career growth and development. About the Role You will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in delivering exceptional service. This position operates on a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, between 7:00am and 11:00pm. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Providing outstanding customer service at all times Managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest enquiries Handling reservations and payments Maintaining a high standard of presentation and attention to detail Working efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment About You We are looking for someone who is: Customer service focused with a positive attitude Highly organised with strong attention to detail Confident in multitasking in a busy front desk environment A team player with a goal‑orientated mindset Well presented with excellent grooming standards An exceptional communicator (written and verbal) Computer literate with Microsoft Office experience Experience with Protel Cloud is an advantage (training provided) Holds a current and valid driver’s licence Previous hotel front office experience is preferred but not essential.
