We are seeking a full‑time Team Leader for our professional child care centre in Leeming. Our centre is family owned and providing a positive, safe and nurturing environment for all children is most important to us. Our philosophy is about children having fun and making great memories. Our staff have friendly and meaningful relationships with warm interactions and are positive role models for children. We reward educators in leadership roles and understand the additional responsibilities so above minimum wages are paid. Professional development is encouraged and paid for by the centre. You will work in a supportive team environment with other skilled educators. The suitable applicant must have great communication skills and written skills to complete necessary observations and understand children's planning cycles. Planning the program of interesting play experiences will be part of your role in collaboration with others educators. For the suitable applicant part‑time employment, such as 8 or 9 day fortnight could be considered. As a Team Leader, guidance and mentoring other educators will be required. If you have a completed Diploma in child care or an equivalent qualification to meet the requirements for this role, please apply ASAP or by 16th January 2025. Suitable applicants who apply early will be called for interviews immediately. You will need experience in child care (minimum of two years). Unfortunately sponsorship will not be considered this time. Our Centre offers the Worker Retention Grant of 15% pay increase.
