Job Summary At Tip Top Bakeries, we pride ourselves on producing an extensive range of wholesome baked goods. We’re looking for a Team Leader – Industrial Cleaning at our Dry Creek bakery. This full‑time, afternoon shift role (Monday‑Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, with early start on Thursdays at 1:30 pm) will report to the Hygiene Supervisor and lead the hygiene team to maintain sanitation standards and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring effective performance and adherence to hygiene standards. Lead initiatives to enhance cleaning efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimise costs. Ensure compliance in alignment with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP). Coordinate with production and maintenance departments to integrate cleaning activities. Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness standards. Prioritise workplace safety and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols. Qualifications Experience as a team leader in FMCG – required. Experience cleaning within FMCG – required 1 year. Committed to continuous improvement – identifying and implementing processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting at times.
