We’re now seeking a hands on Financial Controller to lead the finance function and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement of our financial operations. About the Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this is a key leadership role responsible for the end‑to‑end financial control of a multi‑site manufacturing business. You will oversee all core financial operations while driving process improvement, strengthening controls, and building scalable systems to support future growth. You’ll also be supported by a capable team including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and a Financial Accountant . This position requires strong commercial awareness, manufacturing experience, and the ability to partner closely with operations, production, supply chain, and site leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily finance operations across all entities and sites Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes Present accurate financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly departmental reviews Monitor working capital, cash flow and funding requirements Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (BAS, PAYG, FBT, WorkCover, audits) Provide leadership and support to AR, AP, Payroll and the Financial Accountant Strengthen, document, and continuously improve financial controls and processes Drive system and process enhancements including automation and reporting improvements Partner closely with Operations, Production and Supply Chain to support performance and decision-making Support major projects including system upgrades and site expansion initiatives Quarterly interstate travel About You You’ll be an experienced Financial Controller with strong technical grounding, commercial capability, and the confidence to operate in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You enjoy leading a team, improving processes, and working closely with operational stakeholders. We’re Looking For: Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field Manufacturing or FMCG experience is essential Strong skills in MYOB, Excel, ATO portals and Microsoft 365 Proven experience leading a small finance team Strong financial control, compliance and reporting capability Ability to influence stakeholders and provide commercial insights High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH considered) #J-18808-Ljbffr
