Work Locations Supports participants in Cannington, Armadale, Kelmscott and Leeming areas. About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and person‑centred Recovery Support Worker to support NDIS participants with psychosocial disabilities, mental health needs and daily living skills. You will work alongside participants to build capacity, strengthen independence and support their recovery journey using a strengths‑based approach. The role includes both in‑home and community‑based support. Key Responsibilities Build participants' independence and daily living skills Provide support with cooking, cleaning, shopping and routine domestic tasks Transport participants to appointments, activities and community engagements Assist with social and community participation Support participants to identify and work toward their recovery goals Encourage emotional wellbeing, self‑determination and confidence Provide medication prompts in line with guidelines Complete documentation, progress notes and required reporting Identify, report and manage risks related to participant safety Work collaboratively with families, clinicians and other providers Maintain confidentiality and uphold participants' rights Attend team meetings, supervision and ongoing training Qualifications and Experience Certificate IV in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or equivalent experience Current First Aid and CPR certificate Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and a valid Australian driver's licence Recent National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check Experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities (preferred) Understanding of trauma‑informed and recovery‑oriented practice (preferred) Skills and Personal Attributes Compassionate, patient and dependable Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Ability to work independently while following participant‑centred plans Good judgement and problem‑solving ability Professional boundaries and confidentiality awareness Benefits Supportive team environment Regular supervision and guidance Ongoing training and development Meaningful work supporting people in the community Flexibility depending on participant needs Apply Now Include your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience, qualifications and availability.
