Agency Lead – Samsung Ads (Sydney) This is a permanent role within the Samsung Ads APSBO division, reporting to the Agency Head, and is a rare chance to help shape the next chapter of Connected TV and cross screen advertising in Australia. As Agency Lead you will focus on growing revenue across Samsung Ads owned and operated inventory, including Native and Samsung TV Plus. You will be responsible for developing and deepening relationships with agencies, trading desks and key advertisers, and for turning those relationships into scalable commercial outcomes. You will sit within the Strategic Sales team, working across some of Samsung Ads largest direct clients and agencies. You will partner closely with a Sales Strategist and use Samsung Ads data and insights to build compelling narratives and proposals that drive spend across Connected TV and digital video. This role is based in Sydney, with little to no domestic travel. Key Responsibilities Build and grow strong relationships with named advertisers, media agencies and agency trading desks Develop a deep technical understanding of the Samsung Ads platform, capabilities and unique inventory Create and execute a plan to grow Samsung Ads digital business with your agency and client portfolio Act as a trusted consultant, continuously adding value and driving advertising growth with Samsung Ads Monitor campaign performance and run rate across assigned accounts, working with product and support teams to resolve issues Act as an internal champion for your customers within Samsung Ads and the broader Samsung business About You 5+ years of experience in digital media, preferably within a media agency, trading desk or media owner Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, particularly Connected TV and video Proven track record of securing and growing advertiser and agency spend via PG, PMP and Direct IO Existing relationships across investment or planning teams at major holding company agencies and / or independents Able to think strategically about how buying decisions are made and how to position solutions accordingly Comfortable driving revenue from both existing relationships and new business prospects Excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail and reliable follow through Confident explaining complex topics in simple terms, in person and over the phone Bachelor degree required. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus Preferred experience Experience selling or using major demand side or ad tech platforms (e.g. Adobe, Amazon, Google, The Trade Desk or Verizon Media) Agency or trading desk experience implementing and using advertising technology across multiple brands A strong network across buying and trading teams in the Australian media agency landscape What you’ll enjoy The chance to be part of a rapidly growing, data driven advertising business within one of the world’s most recognisable technology brands A role at the intersection of TV, digital, data and programmatic, working with some of the largest agencies and advertisers The opportunity to shape how Connected TV and cross screen advertising is bought and sold in Australia Samsung is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
