We’re seeking a skilled bookkeeper to support our team and ensure tasks are completed on time. As a key member of our administration team, your careful attention to detail will contribute significantly to our firm’s ongoing development. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current regulations and bring a dynamic, versatile approach to their work, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Part time – hours negotiable. Remuneration: Salary is based on knowledge and experience. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and accounts administration for multiple internal entities Execute daily bank reconciliations in MYOB and Xero with precision Handle weekly payroll processing, including superannuation contributions, in compliance with regulations Timely preparation and submission of Payroll Tax reports Accurately prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) Oversee debtor management to maintain healthy cash flow Essential Qualifications and Experience: Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping, preferably within an internal accounting team Proficiency in Xero or MYOB Comprehensive understanding of payroll, superannuation, and tax reporting Exceptional organisational and time‑management skills Capable of working both independently and collaboratively Strong communication abilities, both in writing and verbally Aligned with Velocity Business Solutions’ ethos of continuous growth and improvement Application Process: Interested in being a part of Velocity Business Solutions?
