This is a senior opportunity for an Estimator who wants ownership, influence, and the chance to rebuild and lead an internal estimating function. You’ll shape cost planning, tendering, value engineering, and early project feasibility for a builder with a strong pipeline across townhouses, mid-rise residential, community and social infrastructure. It’s a role for someone who wants autonomy, visibility and genuine impact, not red tape. The Role You’ll take charge of all pre‑construction costing and help ensure every project stays commercially aligned In Full + On Time. Key focuses: Build accurate cost plans and maintain cost targets Analyse design decisions and highlight risks early Maintain and improve internal rate libraries and benchmarks Lead GMP budgets, tender reviews and value engineering options Support PMs/CAs during design, construction and close‑out Capture lessons learned and feed them into future tenders and standards The Offer $200,000 – $240,000 + Super Senior leadership seat with direct access to decision‑makers Strong 3 – 4 year pipeline across residential + community projects Phone, laptop, and Tier 2‑style governance and systems Opportunity to shape a rebuilt estimating function Supportive, grounded, values‑driven culture Pathways into regional expansion and broader business influence What Winning Looks Like Cost plans that reliably align with contract sums Rapid ECI budgets and feasibility numbers for directors Strong conversion from cost plan to award Clear, defensible pricing that protects margin Updated internal cost library and disciplined governance Positive relationships across PM/CA/Design/Site teams Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost plans and track design changes Build and maintain rate libraries + market benchmarks Run tender reviews, GMP budgets and scope assessments Lead value engineering and cost risk identificationSupport teams through construction with accurate cost guidance Analyse completed project costs and feed learnings into future planning You Senior Estimator with residential or multi‑res experience Skilled in cost plans, tender reviews, GMP models and D&C delivery Commercially minded and confident challenging design assumptions Fast, accurate, pragmatic “loose but right” Strong communicator with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams Detail‑driven, proactive, and thrives in high‑demand environments Why This Role If you want a senior seat where your commercial judgement shapes projects, systems and business growth without bureaucracy, this is the ideal next step.
