The Director of Risk, Compliance and Governance will be responsible for developing a robust risk management strategy and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. You will play a crucial role in guiding the company through the landscape of financial risks and compliance requirements, identify potential threats to brand reputation, financial sustainability, operational efficiency, workforce investments and safety to fully develop a shared understanding of overall risk exposure.
You will lead the development and continuous improvement of the organisation’s governance arrangements and enterprise risk management, act as a catalyst for improvement outcomes and take accountability for the company’s risk profile as it pertains to the business. You will establish and lead a streamlined, coordinated, and cohesive governance and compliance approach to strengthen and expand risk and governance capabilities and support a strong and effective risk management culture across the organisation.

Job Description
Reporting to the VP Finance ANZ, you will work closely with the Managing Director, Defence Force Recruiting, to implement best governance, risk and audit practices. You will ensure alignment with local and global Adecco Group risk minimisation and management activities and broadly responsible for ensuring compliance standards are met across the business and setting the Ethical Standards and Governance Frameworks including complying with Australian Industry Capability and Indigenous Participation requirements.
You will:Have overall responsibility for the Adecco DFR Risk Management framework and reporting of risks to local, regional and global leadership across the businessDevelop, implement, manage and maintain the governance strategy, policy, systems and processes and monitor and report on performance and compliance.Drive contractual compliance and successful delivery of the services through ensuring awareness of emerging risks and compliance issues and trends.Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance and identify areas of riskReport to the Adecco Steer Co on governance and risk matters – preparing reports, business cases and other documentation that identifies potential threats to brand reputation, strategic contract performance, financial stability, operational efficiency, workforce investments and safety to fully develop a shared understanding of overall risk exposure.Work with the Commercial team regarding the Performance Management Framework and Remuneration Strategy to ensure the sharing of risks and rewards.Provide advice and assistance with corporate governance and risk issues.Development of governance and committee terms of reference and appropriate governance structures to support objectives.Provides specialist advice to senior stakeholders regarding any issues to ensure activities are aligned to DFR objectives and best practice.Candidate’s Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have 7+ years of leadership experience managing risk and governance on complex contracts with multi-functional lines and output specifications (including tiered supply chain for a variety of services).
Bachelors Degree in Commerce, Business or other related discipline with professional certification and/or membership of a relevant professional association, is preferable (e.g. CA/CPA and Governance Institute of Australia).
Your background will demonstrate:Experience with complex performance management frameworks.Knowledge of governance and risk principles and best practices.Strong experience in developing, reporting on and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks.Highly motivated governance or risk professional with a strong ability to lead, negotiate and provide effective solutions.Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to effectively balance competing priorities and delivered within tight timeframes.High level negotiation skills and ability to make decisions in relation to the quality of work performed, methods and approaches for how to achieve business outcomes.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions under pressureDeep understanding of strategic plans and priorities, legislative and regulatory frameworks, delegations, governance, and risk processes.Strong knowledge of the effective management and use of human, financial and other resources within set budget and resource parametersTo apply for this position , you must be an Australian citizen
