Job Title Senior Account Executive - Sustainable Infrastructure Location Memphis, TN; Little Rock, AR; Northern Mississippi. Nashville, TN considered for the right candidate. Salary $120,000 - $150,000 + commissions + annual bonus. Work Authorization Eligible to work in the United States. Manager Notes 100% virtual; work from home, with 2-3 days/week client meetings. First 12 months: target 3M revenue. Year 2: 5-8M. Year 3+: 10M+. Opportunity to take over established territory. Competitive base salary, commission, year-end bonus. Company car (Toyota Camry or Ford Maverick) or mileage allowance capped per day. Job Description Responsible for the sale of large, complex bundled offerings with guaranteed savings to high-potential solution sales customers at the executive level. Promote the client's value proposition to C‑level stakeholders, build and manage long-term partnerships with key owners, and ensure customer satisfaction. Execute the sales process to cultivate relationships, qualify, and close new sales and guaranteed savings opportunities. Position renewable service agreements and guaranteed savings as the foundation of managed account relationships, and evaluate opportunities to position design‑build and Energy‑as‑a‑Service (EaaS). Use sales tools to plan and document progress, leveraging monthly checkpoints to secure progressive commitments. Expand depth and breadth of offerings within accounts. Focus on existing and target customers in K‑12, local government, utilities, and community colleges. The territory includes middle and western Tennessee, Arkansas, and northern Mississippi. Ideal candidate resides in Memphis, TN, but candidates from Little Rock, AR or Northern Mississippi are welcome. How You Will Do It Sell offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners and C‑level representatives while achieving optimal profit levels. Focus on selling performance contracting and maximize share of customer business, demonstrating value at the executive level. Renew and expand service agreements, including multi‑year contracts and EaaS offerings. Build partnering relationships with economic buyers, owners, and decision‑makers. Manage the sales process, develop relationships, proactively address customer needs, and demonstrate financial and business acumen. Seek, target, and initiate contact with prospective customers; develop a network of contacts; use sales checkpoints and trial closes. Address financial, business, operational, and environmental objectives; recommend matching solutions. Maximize assigned engineering resources and engage sales support resources effectively. Write, present, and communicate proposals; negotiate value and close the sale. Utilize Salesforce, Altify, and other sales tools to document progress and create opportunities. Manage pipeline stages, complete opportunity action plans, and meet milestones. Lead the sales team, foster relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction. Act as the customer's advocate within the organization; set expectations and participate in final project inspection. Assist in developing regional sales and marketing plans, targeting new customers by vertical market strategy. Use generative AI tools for research and value proposition positioning. Keep management informed of progress; request assistance when needed. Attend trade shows, present, and participate in professional organizations. What We Look For Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred. 5-7 years of progressive field sales experience at the C‑level. Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to lead development teams on specific opportunities in a matrix organization. Commitment to achieving sales results.
