How about a coffee and cake? We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to visit a thoughtful elderly lady who’s feeling a bit lonely. Your time and company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits. Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated.
