About the role Based at our extensive manufacturing facility in Laverton, you’ll work alongside a team who are hardworking and safety focused, where you’ll work 12‑hour shifts, rotating over days and nights, Monday to Friday. Roster rotates over a three week cycle, where you will average 40hrs per week. We are currently seeking an Operator to work in our Tissue Converting Plant. This is a full‑time position where you can utilise your experience in machine operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement to achieve better outcomes for the business. The key responsibilities of this role include: Conducting work in a safe, professional and timely manner Working together with production and maintenance teams to achieve Converting Plant objectives Operate machinery when trained or under supervision Willingness to learn high speed packaging machine set up skills Report equipment breakdowns in a timely manner Monitor production process to ensure finished goods are of high‑quality standard Fault finding and basic troubleshooting of production issues Operate a forklift and overhead cranes Engage in safety improvement initiatives Participate in continuous improvement activities About you We are seeking a strong addition to the team who is hard working, motivated and reliable. The ideal applicant will have: Previous experience in similar roles working days and nights on a rotating shift pattern Good troubleshooting skills Good mechanical aptitude Proven work history within a process environment Machine operation and set up experience Able to accurately follow written procedures and verbal instructions Ability to accurately record manufacturing and quality data Forklift and driver’s licence advantageous Mechanical or Electrical trade background is advantageous Why Encore Tissue Onsite, secure parking Great culture and working environment State‑of‑the‑art manufacturing equipment Uniform and PPE provided If you think you would be a suitable candidate for this position, please Apply Today.
