What I Will Be Doing: This isn’t just a job—it’s an opportunity to help people with disabilities unlock their potential, achieve their dreams, and lead more independent and meaningful lives. As a Senior Support Worker in our Penrith Day Program , I will: Support the day-to-day running of programs and activities focused on Life Skills, Work and Study, Skills for Life, and Recreation. Work alongside the Coordinator to help the team succeed, stepping up when needed. Facilitate group activities such as art, drama, music, and gardening to engage and inspire customers. Assist with administration tasks , including WHS audits (fire drills, site safety inspections) to ensure a safe environment. Help plan and review customer programs , providing guidance to other support workers and ensuring that the programs meet customer needs. Assist with rostering in Niara, and help cover duties when the Coordinator is absent. Be available from 8 am to 4 pm , ensuring consistent support throughout the day. I take initiative and thrive when I can work both independently and as part of a team. I’m organised , approachable , and always ready to help others do their best work.
