About the role We are looking for an experienced, fully registered Early Childhood Teacher, to join our Reservoir service. This role has primary responsibility for the development and delivery of the kindergarten program for 3-5 year old children in a mixed aged kindergarten room. We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher with: Motivation, intentionality and great communication with children, families and colleagues A passion for early childhood education and a desire to be impactful through developing and delivering a rich and diverse educational program Experience in program development, including floor book documentation (ideally with Claire Warden Floor books approach) An ability to connect with, and maintain, positive professional relationships with families, children and colleagues Professional English proficiency, and an ability to document professional conversations, critical reflections, as well as ECT documentation including using the EYALT, Transition Statements etc An understanding of the compliance and operational requirements of an early childhood service, ideally having undertaken a Diploma qualification prior to ECT. A minimum of three years of early childhood teaching experience with permanent work rights. Experience as a Responsible Person and willingness to undertake the required responsibilities of a closing shift at 6pm.
