We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse with a commitment to promoting breastfeeding, child health, and early intervention to join our North Metropolitan Breastfeeding Support Service. Key Responsibilities Promoting the health and wellbeing of children and families using evidence‑based, preventative and early intervention approaches that reflect social determinants of health. Conducting holistic assessments of infants and families, planning and implementing nursing care based on health needs, goals and service priorities. Providing high‑quality breastfeeding education, support and health promotion to individuals and groups. Communicating effectively with families and community networks, strengthening partnerships and encouraging participation. Acting as a resource for nursing staff, students and colleagues by supporting the development of clinical and organisational skills within your scope of practice. Participating in clinical governance, policy development, service evaluation and continuous quality improvement activities. Contributing to evidence‑based practice, nursing research and quality improvement initiatives within Child and Adolescent Community Health. Qualifications & Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) with ANF Level RN 2. Child Health Certificate. Current and valid driver’s licence. Experience providing breastfeeding support in community settings is desirable. Commitment to promoting breastfeeding and early childhood health. Eligibility Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential for permanent positions in the public sector.
