IT Assistant

In this position you represent our management team and support it in all IT & administrative matters and projects. You act as an interface between the managing directors, all departments of the company as well as external partners and customers. In addition to independently completing all classic IT assistance tasks, you will work with product & project managers, designers, software architects and engineers to coordinate the delivery of software products.
Your Profile
Please apply for this position if you meet the following requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in managing information technology infrastructure
Professional experience in management or assistance
Knowledge of IT hardware including computers, servers, and other peripherals
Effective project management skills: Expertise in the identification and use of technology equipment/software applications suitable for diverse instructional settings and user abilities
Knowledge in Cybersecurity and information security management
Experience in LAN/WAN connectivity and system installation, maintenance, and repair
Ability to provide excellent customer service even in stressful situations and function as part of a cohesive team
Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Capable of working on a variety of operating systems including Apple and Linux
Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
Your work experience, skills and references will be verified.
How to have an Advantage?
Coding skills
Experience in Big data engineering and architecture is an advantage
Background in Artificial intelligence and machine learning
Spanish skills give you an advantage
Responsibilities
Excellent organisational skills are required for this varied job, since you will supervise project plans in direct coordination with a manager in addition to general network administration and IT work:
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products
Install and manage software updates and operating systems
Configure API connections and integrations between softwares
Supervise and process support requests and provide technical assistance to team members and clients as needed
Operating server infrastructure, printers and fax
Be available for international business travel and willing to work overtime if necessary.
Work environment
You will work in a team office during this full time position in our offices in Donaucity, Vienna. We provide fruits, vegan snacks and beverages and a relaxing, creative environment.

Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer a gross monthly salary between € 2,700 and € 3,600 for this position
Five weeks of vacation per year
For Non-EU residents we offer a 3 months contract working in Vienna with the possibility to prolong, or after this period work remote from your country of origin
Assistance with Austrian work visa application if necessary
All additional benefits dictated by Austria's employment law including medical insurance
