Head of IT Lead Country Austria (f/m/d) IT is an integral part of the Siemens business and its’ strategy as an integrated technology company. Together with the business, IT drives the internal digitalization and the development of digital products, driving business outcomes, leading IT/OT convergence and acting as one global team.As a future-thinker you have the opportunity to apply for the role of Head of IT for the Lead Country Bundle Austria (LCB AT) covering 26 countries of Siemens business in Central Eastern Europe. In this role you will report to the CFO of LCB AT and Head of IT Global Hub. You are part of a global IT team and capable to deliver on the below. You are making a difference by: Digital Transformation - you should understand digital technologies, including big data analytics, artificial intelli-gence (AI) and automation. Together with Business IT you will drive digitalization initiatives across the organiza-tion. Business Alignment - listen to our businesses and develop trustful relationships and deep understanding on re-quirements to implement them together with our Business ITs and global Value Centers. IT strategy implementation - guide global topics into the business and provide a LCB AT voice in shaping the di-rection of IT back to our headquarters. Maximise use of global solutions. Partnering - orchestration of IT business partner activities to ensure consistent and comprehensive information to Executive Management. User Experience - manage local IT onsite support for end users based on global guidelines along UX. Compliance - manage IT and Cybersecurity compliance with local laws/regulations and given corporate architecture. Drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement. Talent Development - acquire and manage talent effectively. Build high-performing teams that can execute the digital agenda. You have the following skills and competencies: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with an IT & Digitalization background preferred and 10+ years of professional experience and an advanced commercial acumen. Possessing profound expert knowledge in IT & Digitalization, and the IT market, strategic portfolio development. Combining an excellent and distinct customer orientation with a holistic IT business perspective/understanding including excellent negotiating experience with customers, contractors, and suppliers. Providing comprehensive leadership and management skills and 8+years of experience in an operational busi-ness managing and leading diverse teams in a virtual working environment. Intercultural experience and sensi-tivity are pre-requisite. Demonstrating the qualities of a “great leader”: you can motivate, lead, coach, delegate assigned tasks, and empower your employees to leverage their potential and deliver the best results. Ability to travel up to 20-30 % of the time mainly within Central Europe. Fluency in English and German. Additional languages are beneficial. An attractive compensation package (consisting of a fixed and a variable income) including corporate pension, employee pension fund, company car, and shareholder program. The basis for the fixed income is the minimum gross income of EUR 121,800.00 per year applicable to this func-tion due to our collective bargaining agreement.
