In close partnership with CeMM, the Research Center for Molecular Medicine, both institutes under theumbrella of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW), and the administrative leadership of Anita Ender, youwill learn how to build a successful research organization, establish standard operating procedures, andexchange best practices in Human Resources and Training. You will actively contribute to the strategic goalsof the research institutes to enable and empower scientists.

CeMM, Science is our Medicine

CeMM discovers and develops technologies for the exploration of human biology with the aim of fi ghtingdisease at its roots. CeMM is a member of EU-LIFE, the alliance of leading research centres in the lifesciences and has received the HR Excellence in Research Award (HRS4R) from the European Commission.

Recruitment and On/Off-Boarding Expert(m/f/d)

for AITHYRA, fulltime, 40 hours per week

The candidate will report to Jean-Paul Chidiac, Head of Human Resources. This position primarily located atCeMM in Vienna, Austria. You will move to a new workspace (also in Vienna) as soon as it becomes available.

Your role
  • Recruitment: Preparation of job advertisements in compliance with Austrian labor law (Equal TreatmentAct), international search, application management, candidate communication, structuring of unbiasedand fair assessment processes, establishment of our employer value proposition.
  • Visa and Residency Support: Support for visas and residency/work permits, including advice ondocuments, monitoring expiry dates, issuing certifi cates and communication with Austrian authorities.
  • On- and Offboarding: Supporting people from the moment of application and employment, throughouttheir time at the Institute with staff and family services, and playing an important role in building astrong network of supporters and future alumni. Helping members transition smoothly into and out ofthe Institute and ensuring a proper handover of work tools, know-how, data, and quality standards.
  • Metrics: Reporting on Recruitment Metrics.

Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience recruitment and talentacquisition.
  • Good understanding of Austrian Labor Law is an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English is a must, good communication skills in Germanare an advantage.
  • Previous experience with visa support and residence permits for researchers is an advantage.
  • A good understanding of academic research institutions (previous work experience in an internationalor scientifi c environment is an advantage).
  • A strong work ethic: a high level of personal integrity and professionalism.

We offer
  • Work in an experienced, interdisciplinary and international team in two of Europe's leading researchinstitutes. You will be required to relocate if you are based elsewhere and will receive a relocation allowance to support you.

  • Minimum gross monthly salary of EUR 3,800.00, paid 14 times a year.
  • The normal working week is 40 hours. Core working time is the working time during which theemployee must be present at the workplace. Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 15:00 and Friday from 09:00 to 13:00. A maximum of 1 homeoffice day per calendar week may be used.
