Use your opportunity and the creative freedom that this role offers you to actively contribute to AVL's vision - for a greener, safer, better world of mobility - and to drive the successful development of future vehicle and drive conceptsYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Independent management of commercial vehicle development projects (focus on vehicle and drive integration) from concept to series productionManagement of international project teamsManagement and professional involvement of all project stakeholders through targeted communication (including professional project documentation and presentation of development progress to customers)Ensuring process-compliant target achievement, as well as setting and monitoring necessary measures for target achievementSales support within the scope of the projects Professional change, time and resource managementProject management with regard to technical progress, quality and costsEnsuring customer satisfactionYOUR PROFILE:Completed education (University of Applied Sciences, University) with a focus on mechanical engineering or engineering degree with specialization in related fieldsAt least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a project manager / program manager in vehicle developmentSound experience in managing SOP projects Knowledge of customer systems/processes of well-known OEMs is an advantageLeadership qualities and confidence in dealing with customers with excellent communication skillsVery strong social and intercultural skillsAnalytical thinking, solution orientation and perseveranceSense of responsibility, goal orientation and entrepreneurial thinking and actingWillingness to travel about 20 percent worldwideVery good in German and EnglishWE OFFER:Contributing to a safer and more sustainable future of mobility80% subsidy for public transportation costs or access to a personal parking spaceTraining and development programs for your individual career growthHealth talks, seminars and e.g. check-ups as part of our broad health programAnnual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: 70.000,00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry).
