Join the automation team at B&R- a member of the ABB Group.To expand our team in the Global Sourcing department, we are looking for a Senior Buyer for Indirect Material & Services. In this exciting and multi-faceted role function, you will be responsible for the procurement of indirect material (non-production material) and services services at competitive costs. You will adhere closely to compliance requirements and Group guidelines. You also keep a close eye on deadlines and quality targets. firmly in view. You are adept at analyzing selected procurement markets and creating a suitable a suitable supplier portfolio to achieve the supply and cost targets.Your responsibilitiesIndependent assumption of the timely, quality and cost-oriented procurement of products/services of the assigned product groupsObtaining offers and handling complaintsIndependent comparison of offers, selection of suitable suppliersResponsible order scheduling and monitoring of delivery datesPrice negotiations with suppliersAnalysis of relevant procurement marketsMaster data maintenanceCreating statistics and reportsYour backgroundCompleted commercial/technical education (e.g. HAK/HTL, Uni/FH)Relevant professional experience in international purchasingMarket knowledge and experience in the area of Indirect Material & Services an advantageConfident handling of MS Office applications, experience with SAP module MM desirableVery good knowledge of German and EnglishTeam-oriented personality with strong negotiating skillsEnjoy a varied job with a high degree of responsibility and hands-on mentalityMore about usAt B&R – a member of the ABB Group, you can expect an exciting and challenging job with an individually tailored introductory training. In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of 3 409,59 gross/month. There is a clear willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
